The ANNEX Chair

I while back I created this "chair" called the ANNEX for the AIA Chair Affair competition - I didn't win. It was featured on ReadyMade where you can read more about it. I reticently made a new laser cut Masonite seat to replace the cardboard one which wasn't strong enough (but conformed to the Chair Affair rules) and it is going to be featured at the OBJCT GALLERY in January - I'll keep you posted.

I don't know about you, but the real fascination is with the negative space left over. But what an amazing idea: laser cutting iron-on material. I wonder if you can laser cut contact paper?
