This laser cut lamp from David Sjunnesson seems to be an example of the Pollen Lamp.

RCF #4 Isette

At Renegade Craft Fair Chicago, I visited Jennifer Putzier of Isette, She began by laser cutting her jewelery through Ponoko before purchasing her own laser cutter - now she is able to experiment with more materials including laser etching into painted wood.

Bird Desk

A new furniture design from me. This is the Bird Desk and it has CNC cut legs from Ponoko. They are free (you pay nothing above their manufacture) and I have also uploaded the how-to pdf to and eps for the CNC legs Thingiverse.com so you could cut them wherever you want.

This acts as a companion to the George Bed.

Digital Die Cutting

So, Ponoko right now has a contest to win a Silhouette Cameo, and this got me thinking about buying my own digital die cutting machine - they are die cutters that use blades (like lasers) instead of dies and "print" your designs from your computer.

This is Top 10 Reviews and what I am basing my purchase on (I can't afford a laser cutter - can you?), and I think I am going for the Boss Kut Gazelle...

Good luck on the contest!

Zaishu Table

The Zaishu table can also be used as a seat, but sadly does not include storage and the lovely pattern shown above is not available.

The link to Zaishu was found through Ponoko, who called it "High end", which strikes me as odd because it retails for around $300-.

Another Business Card...

What is it about laser cutters that make people want to make business cards. This one is made of bamboo and doesn't fit in a wallet. Read more and buy (LOL) at Ponoko.

Type Coasters from Ponoko

They are the best they have (despite not being sans serif) and as far as I can tell they are not available anymore. Read more at Ponoko's Blog.
